Lt.HR. Cindy about the F2F weekend 11/17/06 - 11/19/06

This past weekend while peering through my telescope from my position on the bridge, I spotted some unusual occurrences on the horizon. Lots of howling and barking to the south and evidence of a pack of dawgs cavorting in the Lone Star state. A Paparazi crew was diverted from the TomKat nuptials to cover this canine conclave. Pictures have surfaced and it appears that some serious mustard-worshiping and tail-wagging occurred.

I, on the other hand, found myself chasing my tail hither and nigh and while at first blush it might appear that I was slacking on my duties, I’m happy to report that we accomplished yet another f2f in the land of O’Scare! At approximately oh-seventeen-hundred on the twentieth day of the eleventh month, CCO and Lt-HR conducted a covert meeting with SC in the dreary baggage claim area of the airport. As soon as she stepped off the escalator, we knew we were looking at none other than our MOS SC! And SC recognized CCO and I as she approached (okay, we were riding around on the conveyor belt with giddy smiles) and after shaking some overly-friendly passengers she sat beside on the flight home, we were able to ramble on about important MOS business. And then, too soon, we parted ways – SC heading into her limo for the final leg of her journey and CCO and I zooming off for a quick stop at yet another crew’s quarters. That’s right MrsMurf, we stopped at Allie (&Kim’s) to say hello.

And today when the sun came up, we looked back on this weekend with a smile because it’s about
more than just cruising – it’s about friendships. And there are plenty being forged on the MOS!
