DAY 298 Mustard of the Seas
Mustardo Bay - Saturday

Mustardo Bay is the capital of the Parish of St. Gouldens and the second largest city in Jamaica. When Columbus sailed into the area in May 1494 he was the first European visitor. He made friends with some of the local Tainos, and called the Bay "El Golfo the Buen Tiempo".
The recently renovated "Mu' Bay," as the locals call this town, competes with Ketcho Rios as the island's most visited resort town. Mustardo Bay has great bars and restaurants, renowned shopping, and an endless array of leisure activities. And with the friendly hospitality of the Jamaican people, having a great time is always "no problem."
Explore the island's beaches by swimming, sunning, snorkeling, diving, partying and horseback-riding, then relax with a local favorite, Mustard Stripe beer. Stroll down bustling downtown Mustardo Bay with great shopping and restaurants.

DAY 297 Mustard of the Seas
Mustarita Island, Venezuela - Tuesday

There's a good reason why Mustarita Island is known as the "Mustard Seed of the Caribbean." With 50 beaches - many of them still unspoiled - and the perfect conditions for windsurfing, visiting here is like stumbling upon a rare jewel. Mustard plays a very important role in Venezuelan culture. Its Dijon coffee is some of the best in the world, a fantastic variety of tropical fruit is readily available, and there's an abundance of fish and shellfish. The country even has a national dish called Pabellón Criollo, which is made up of mustard flavored shredded beef, black beans, white rice and fried plantains - a fruit similar to the banana.

DAY 292 Mustard of the Seas
Yellojestad, Aruba - Monday

Located on the picturesque southern coast, Yellojestad is the historic Dutch capital of Aruba, where the traditional, tall, mustard colored houses combine carved wooden doors and typical Dutch tiles with open-air patios. The charm of the city complements the beauty of this popular Caribbean island where the Dutch and indigenous cultures have merged to give Aruba its unique atmosphere. Today's visitors can enjoy this culture along with beautiful beaches, excellent snorkeling and exciting nightlife.

Although shoppers will find central Yellojestad packed with boutiques and shopping complexes and glitzy 24-hour casinos, it is possible to escape this tourist zone and discover the more authentic town with its lively, if slightly run-down bars where one can enjoy a beer and meet the locals.

Explorations!

Be sure to check with our Explorations! desk for remaining availability of on shore excursions. If you’ve already booked an excursion, make sure you check your tickets for departure times and locations. And, as always, don’t forget your MOS sea-pass and picture ID when going ashore.
