Colorado F2F #1
As the appointed hour grew near, Peter and Wendy suddenly realized that in order to speak with the friendly folks at the front desk of the Cliff House hotel, they needed to know EJs full name.
Somehow, even after months of sending emails to and fro, that little detail was forgotten!

Next, we assisted EJ in his quest to try every beer made in Colorado and went to a nice outdoor establishment and had a beer.
Another short walk in Old Colorado City, and we were off to the restaurant for Mexican fare.
A couple of small incidents (our dining room staff failed to get orders correct) were dealt with, and dinner was enjoyed. The photos taken at the table were from the restaurant.
We chatted for a while (too short), and returned to the Cliff House. We sat in the wicker chairs and enjoyed a final cup of coffee with our wonderful guests, and all too soon,
bid them farewell and a good journey home.

Peter tried feverishly to contact someone who could provide the required information. Of course, the internet was not being very helpful, and before receiving the answer so
thoughtfully provided by AngieBaby, Peter and Wendy set out on their quest. We figured the Power of the Mustard would be strong with us, and guide us on our journey.
The front desk worker was helpful, but could not sort out which of their guests we were trying to contact. Until, that is, WendyPan blurted out that the people we were searching for had
won their stay in a contest. It seems that EJ made a strong impression with the supervisor, who knew immediately who we were looking for.
We waited patiently as they rang the room, and no one answered! We thanked her for her help and went outside to wait (OK, to try and form a new plan).
Wendy asked if I thought I would recognize EJ based on the picture provided in the crew album. I said, “I think so” as I continued to look at a couple sitting in the wicker chairs reading.
I was thinking to myself “He looks like that guy over there”. Using the Power of the Mustard, WendyPan read my mind and went over to the gentleman and inquired if he might be EJ.
HOORAY! We found them (OK, we walked right past them on the way in to pester the front desk folks).
We chatted a bit, and then took the couple of Nutz (?) on a short drive through Garden of the Gods. The pictures with the rock formations were taken there.
We stood in front of “Ship Rock”.

We hope to meet them again soon, and get to know them even better. They are truly a wonderful couple and we hope they enjoyed their stay in Colorful Colorado!
